Meet Verity Spencer

Integrative Psychotherapist

Prior to training as an integrative counsellor with CPPD in London, I worked for several years in the UK and internationally as a news broadcaster for radio and television. This role involved collaborating with colleagues from various countries, both in group settings and independently.

After becoming a mother, I decided to pursue work involving direct interaction with people in supportive environments. I completed a BSc in Psychology (London) and subsequently trained as an Integrative Counsellor with CPPD in London. I am a Registered Member MBACP (Accredited).

Why Psychotherapy?

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes it’s because of a specific difficulty, and sometimes it’s simply a sense that life feels harder than it should. You don’t need to have all the answers, a label, or a diagnosis—just a feeling that something isn’t quite right.

Counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe and supportive space to explore whatever is troubling you. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, find new ways of coping, and work towards greater clarity, balance, and wellbeing.
